The Least of These

For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.” – Matthew 25:35-40

That genuine act, however small, above your line of duty; by walking that extra mile, doing that extra effort, giving that extra time is where your true character seen. Beyond public applause, under no ones watch, but God.

Let’s do the same, now is the time.

Keep him

Dear reader, may you be blessed by this blog. May our God bless us always! Be excellent in every part of your life, this is just one, strive to learn more. By the way, don’t trust my words, trust the Bible. After reading this, i suggest that you must continue to read more topics about jesting and joking that is written in the Bible, so that you will not be deceived by the adversary of Christ.

We do joke usually, everyday. Does joking has limitations? Yes it does, as the Bible says:

Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.-Ephesians 5:4

We do enjoy giving jokes and teasing our friends, it make us laugh and feel good when it is delivered with precision. But when used as a norm in almost every situation, however usual it is, it will lead to a point that the other person will eventually feel annoyed to the one who is always doing the jest.

This simple and usually taken for granted unchristian habit has been commonly used by our fellow brothers and sisters daily. This habit will certainly reveal its effect as time goes by, just as sin was permitted to exist this long to see how its results are exceedingly sinful. we must control its use and put a barrier to every words that we must speak, it is written in the Bible that:

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.-Ephesians 4:8

Because,

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.-Ephesians 6:12

The greatest want of the world is the want of men—men who will not be bought or sold, men who in their inmost souls are true and honest, men who do not fear to call sin by its right name, men whose conscience is as true to duty as the needle to the pole, men who will stand for the right though the heavens fall. –Education, p. 57, c 1903, 1952, The Ellen G. White Publications; Pacific Press Publishing Association.

Take heed about this my friends, i’ve almost lost a friend because of this small matter. Even though you can’t feel the disasters that it can make in your life today, soon it will reveal its true identity, and it’s so evil. Don’t let that time to come, prevention is still better than cure.

God Bless. Take care of your friends.
