Where Must Broken Hearts Go?

February, a month that is considered by many as a season of merging of hearts.

The number of people indulged in this, supposed-to-be unnecessary occasion, rose up. But not all individual gets a chance to get what (who) they aspire. In return, they feel rejected, neglected, and disregarded — broken. Instead of a fusion of hearts, fragmentation creeps, where massive lives are affected. A problem that is not to be overlooked.

In every problem, there is a solution. In every heartbreak, there is a refuge. Now and then that refuge is classified as a where, but most of the time it is correlated as a who. It represent itself as a cushion that when severely tested by time and circumstances can turn into another stumbling block for yet another heartbreak, and the series continues over and over again.

When will it cease? How can it be stopped?

The effects may be seen, but the root of this emotional mayhem that destroyed thousands of lives is rooted into something that is unseen. He, Who is seen by no one living today is the One who created everything (Colossians 1:16,17). And if He did create everything, He can offer a solution for everything. It is He who we overlooked. our gaze are redirected into something (or someone) that (who) is of a lower nature compared Him. We are robbed from a remedy existed before worlds are created. It is He Who came into the world and we received not. It is He Who offered a rest for our weary spirit. It is He Who gave His life for us to live and it is He Who, despite our sinfulness loved us unconditionally. It is He who can be a cushion, not for a moment, but for eternity.

We have wandered too long and too far, we must come to Him Who have once lived in this world and healed many from their infirmities of the heart. Even today, His power to help has never regressed. It is to Him, where noble men from the past and even until today prayed and hoped for a life of peace in this world and in the world to come.

“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” – John 14:27

It is to Him, where broken hearts must go.

It is JESUS where you must go.

  1. Jeremiah 17:9 – The heart is deceitful above all is beyond cure…. Who can cure it?
However, it’s amazing to know that in vs 10, God says, ” I, the Lord, examines the heart…”
God can indeed heal every broken hearted person if we are willing to surrender everything to Him. Unless, we’re not willing to recognize the need of a “new” heart, God cannot do anything for us. He knocks the door, but He never forces to come in. 🙂
