“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.”-Genesis 1:26
“For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.”-Philippians 3:20-21
What are we originally? There are many theories that have been exposed to us from the different secular schools and universities. Most of these are, the Bigbang Theory, the Evolution Theory, and the Raelian Theory. These Theories had been together with us from our childhood days, until we’ve reached High School, and College. All of these are just theories! Only the Biblical theory of creation is the absolute truth, which can stand any accusations that will question its validity and the accuracy of its claims.
What on earth are we here for? If we are really Christians then we would claim that our duty on earth is to share the story of the risen saviour “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”-matthew 24:14
What is to be restored? Christ’s purpose here on earth is to restore what He had lost when man fell to the deceptions of Satan in the garden of Eden. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”-John 1:1 He then promised: “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.”-John 14:1-4. After His crucifixion and resurrection, He bid us: “Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.”-Acts 1:11 Finally, now we are waiting for His soon return “And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.”-Revelation 14:12
So that was the sequence on a quick review for us all. Now, the question that still remained unanswered is: What is to be restored? It was our Character. “And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.”-Revelation 19:8 Our defiled Characters had been justified by the bloodstained banner of Christ. By daily living our lives in accordance to His will, we are sanctifying ourselves by the grace of God to enable us the right to meet Him in the air, that one day we’ll be glorified and obtain a spot in heaven together with our names written in the roll–The Book of Life.
“And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”-Revelation 21:3-4
This is the life that we can obtain if we’ll just remain faithful and obedient to our Master who are in Heaven. He is the prototype that we must copy so that we’ll live with Him forever in Heaven together with the righteous, pious, holy, and Honest angels and faithful humans. Our love for Christ must be kindled as early as now, before the great day of judgement. All efforts that will be done after the judgement will be useless for the time of probation had been closed. Thus, “He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.”-Revelation 22:11
We are planned to pattern our lives like Christ, who is the prototype of every human. Our maker, Saviour, and Redeemer that has been with us since the beginning of time. He must be the measure of perfection for He is perfect. “Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”-Hebrews 4:14-16
Total restoration is needed, being partial is not an option. If it will be granted then the spirit of compromise will rise and the truth will not manifest its true power. Calling Sin in its right name is needed in this process of Restoration, and only He, our prototype, who created us can guide us on how to become like Him again.
“Redemption without Restoration is not Salvation!”
